In the Bay of Montevideo there is a ship cemetery with more than 50 ships that must be removed for the expansion and improvement of the Port of Montevideo.

Main functions and tasks of Movilex:

We are awarded the international tender for the refloating, transfer and scrapping of all the ships in the cemetery. This means handling more than 50,000 tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as other waste. All the metals obtained are being sold in the international market (Asia, Morocco, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, etc).
