We develop two different projects in Panama dedicated to different activities such as the removal of ferrous and non-ferrous waste and WEEE.

Panama Canal

In the expansion of the locks of the Panama Canal, ferrous material, wood, plastics and end-of-life tires were obtained; the latter were handed over to a specialized gestures for their management.

Main functions and tasks of Movilex:

We take care of the removal, storage and decontamination of all the material discarded from this extension, both from the Atlantic and the Pacific. For the production process, we rented some ships located in Colón and Panama, moving the materials directly loaded into the Canal to them. This was the beginning of our current activity in Panama.

Panama City Plant

Establishment in Panama City dedicated to the management of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste, the scrapping of ships and vehicles and the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)

Main functions and tasks of Movilex:

We have a team of 6 contracted and 8 subcontracted people who carry out the prospecting, collection, collection, treatment and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste, WEEE and end-of-life vehicles. The company is awarded the removal of vehicles from the public highway of the municipality of Panama City. The material is transformed in the facilities authorized by the Administration in Panama City and exported internationally through the Port of Panama. The transformed material is sent to different parts of the world; mainly Asia, Vietnam and India.
